PrimeLine for central battery: explosion-proof emergency lamp for zone 1

Three lighting options for tough working conditions
Ex PrimeLine lamps offer three independent operating variants, enabling them to be used in a wide variety of projects:
✔ Basic lighting – safe lighting for industry every day,
✔ Emergency with own power supply – integrated battery guarantees emergency operation for 1.5 or 3 hours,
✔ Centrally powered emergency with addressable function – the CBX module (optional CBY) allows full integration into the Eaton infrastructure, providing advanced lighting management.
High power factor – real energy savings
Thanks to the use of advanced electronics, most Ex PrimeLine models achieve a Power Factor above 0.98. This means, among other things:
✔ Improved power quality,
✔ Stability of the overall electrical installation,
✔ Lower operating costs.
Variants powered at 230-250 VAC achieve PF = 0.98-0.99, confirming the highest quality and reliability in the most demanding industrial environments. Such a high Power Factor reduces the load on the network and promotes the energy efficiency of the installation – which translates directly into savings.
LED power supplies for reliable operation in 1 EX-zone
Each luminaire uses high-performance LED power supplies that offer:
✔ Energy efficient operation,
✔ Stable power supply for the LED modules,
✔ Extended life of the lighting system.
Thanks to precise voltage regulation, flickering effects or drops in brightness are eliminated. This is crucial where uniform, continuous light is required – for example, in industrial and technological applications.
Power supply? Flexibility as standard
Ex PrimeLine emergency lights are designed to operate in a variety of voltage conditions:
✔ 110 VAC, 50 Hz
✔ 220 VAC, 50 Hz
✔ 230 VAC, 50 Hz
✔ 240 VAC, 50 Hz
✔ 250 VAC, 50 Hz
Thanks to this versatility, PrimeLine luminaires will work well in many countries and a wide variety of installations – without the need for additional adaptation.
Length of lamp to suit the space
Two housing sizes – 670 mm and 1270 mm – are available, allowing the luminaire to be optimally matched to the installation conditions and the specifics of explosive atmospheres (especially zone 1).

Instructions
PrimeLine – Ex ATEX industrial emergency lamp for zone 1 ready for any conditions
The new PrimeLine range of explosion-proof emergency lights under the central Ex ATEX battery has been designed as an efficient, reliable and versatile answer to the needs of industry. With a proven design, a wide range of options and an attractive price, PrimeLine will work well in both new installations and retrofitting of existing systems. Interoperability with Eaton central battery systems ensures seamless integration with central emergency power supply.
Optional emergency power supply from integrated battery – reliable for up to 3 hours
If, instead of being powered by a central battery, you decide to choose the option of an emergency explosion-proof lamp for zone 1 powered by an internal battery, the luminaire can operate in emergency mode for 1.5 or 3 hours, depending on the configuration. Versions suitable for sub-zero temperatures can be equipped with an integrated heater to stabilise battery conditions and ensure uninterrupted lighting in all conditions.
Lighting parameters that make a difference
The ATEX PrimeLine emergency lights feature above-average light output – one of the product’s strongest points:
- Shorter version: 4400 lumens at 125 lm/W
- Longer version: more than 8500 lumens at 145 lm/W
- Emergency variants with CB: 50% of basic light intensity
Suitable for harsh conditions – low and high temperatures
PrimeLine has been developed with extreme temperatures in mind. The emergency version with battery can operate even at -20°C and the standard models from -40°C to +50°C (with option up to +55°C). The versions with a central battery can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +50°C.
Certification at international level
Our PrimeLine emergency lamp powered by a central battery has full ATEX and IECEx certification, ensuring compliance with safety standards for explosive atmospheres worldwide. A CNBOP-approved version will also be available for the Polish market, which guarantees compliance with local regulations and formal requirements for emergency lighting.
